Brian Mulroney Hall
St. Thomas University,
Fredericton, NB

In 2001, a 3 storey, 3,300 m² multi-purpose building was built on
the campus of St. Thomas University. The building was constructed using
structural steel framing with rigid frames to resist seismic loads.
Compositely designed floors were used for economy, fire resistance and
vibration resistance. The building featured several unique
architectural designs requiring innovative structural design.
Eastern Designers provided complete
structural engineering services including concepts, preliminaries,
final design, contract documents and site inspections to confirm
compliance with the documents.
